Pedro Kruger: "It is great to see the passion for theatre that I experienced in my school years still going strong. Pedro Kruger and Hennie van Greunen will join the panel on Saturday night as guest judges. The judges are Ira Blanckenberg and Cintaine Schutte. There will be 9 plays competing from Wednesday to Friday with the best four plays competing on Saturday. Schools making their debut on stage are Hoërskool McLachlan, Hoërskool Paul Sauer, Global Leadership Academy, Hoërskool Nico Malan, Selborne College, Hoërskool Brandwag and Hoërskool Bergrivier. Admission is free and each evening starts at 17:00. The regional festival in Port Elizabeth starts on the 5th of August and runs till the 8th of August at The Little Theatre at The Athenaeum, Belmont Terrace, Central.
